I just read that Ozzy Osbourne has said he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. I started to listen to Ozzy about 40 years ago when I was 10. I have all his albums on CD including the ones when he was with Black Sabbath, I have seen him 3 times in concert and had the honor of meeting him once. I am certainly not the biggest fan but I am a big fan of his music. I feel for him and his family to have to go through this and I hope they all stay strong. I am sure this is not easy on any of the family. All the best to you Ozzy.

He's 71 now so at least it didn't get him younger.

Very true, pretty full life especially the way he lived life.

I think he has probably suffered from it or it's precursor for years. Not because of his speech, but because of his movements, they have always seem stilted.

Yea, that could be true. He has had that for a while and it probably went undiagnosed for a while.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yea, I remember when that news came out and I was shocked by that one. Honestly, this one doesn't shock me but it is still sad to me.

My grandpa had Parkinson's. It was an unkind disease.

I saw this the other day and thought how sad that he has Parkinsons. I did hear that he still wants to go back out on tour. Hope he can

Your always surprised when a celebrity is diagnosed with a serious illness. Ozzy seemed to me to speak very haltingly and moved with a lack of coordination when I watched him on his TV show. I wonder if it was just a coincidence or the beginnings of the disease? With the medications they have now hopefully he can be effectively helped.

Yea, not sure if it was just undiagnosed or he just never admitted up to having it then, but seemed something was wrong back then.

I’m sorry to hear that. Not an Ozzy fan at all, but I’ve seen Parkinson’s destroy a number of careers and sadden a lot of fans. My best to Ozzy as well.
