I will get round to you!

Everyone knows that if someone responds or comments on your discussions then it's only polite to do the same on theirs. I do try to check and see if some of my regular posters have made new discussions but if I have a lot of notifications it's so easy to forget.
If there is anyone reading this thinking it's about time I got round to commenting on their new discussions I promise I will check when I get a minute. If I get someone new posting on mine I will try and make an effort to return the favour. Just give me a little time!

Most people do, if you visit their discussions, they go through your posts to do the same. It is a nice gesture, but not really necessary. I usually check the Most Recent Discussions and read what sounds interesting, but first I always clear my notifications.

I think you must get far more notifications than I do and you're quite disciplined when it comes to answering them. I have to take lots of breaks.

For goodness sake, I've been waiting forever for you to respond to all my comments. I haven't heard from you in like 2 hours, so I was starting to get upset that maybe you went to bed or something. Who needs sleep when you have myLot? LOL

. I actually do feel guilty sometimes if I am too tired to do my notifications which is stupid as I know it's not like a real job where I could get sacked! Don't sack me Jeff

@sprite1950 I don't know, maybe we feel a certain level of loyalty or connectedness to the site, and if we miss a day of answering notifications it feels like we let everybody down. And don't worry, I won't sack you after the first offense. But if it becomes a pattern...

No worries with me because I don't check on that issue whether you are commenting on mine or not. When I come across the new discussions, I only read what is interesting to me and when i have no comment to share then I do not comment. It is not my duty to comment on your discussion just because you commented on mine. Let's be open to this, right?

I try to be but I don't know if you have seen any of my arguments on ForumCoin. I'm definitely not then!

Haha don't worry! Sometimes I feel guilty that I don't look at the discussions of others if I have a lot of notifications to get through.

I guess but I always feel rude if I don't comment on a discussion where someone has been kind enough to cmment on mine.

I feel the need often to cite this as well. I tend to write, "Eventually I will get to them all," and generally I do. Be they comments, responses, getting back to people on my own discussions. I can assure you, though, no one is going to hold you accountable even if you didn't or couldn't get to them all. We all understand that we have lives outside of here and for whatever that is worth, that takes precedence.

I tend to feel guilty if someone has made an effort to answer several discussions and then I forget to return the favour although many don't work on that principle and just makes responses and comments on discussions they find interesting regardless of whose they are.

@porwest My notifications are building up a little now so in the mornings when it is quieter here I attend to those and then look for something I am interested in. Sometimes I wish I hadn't but occasionally I find someone I can really get on with.

@sprite1950 In the past month or so I have gotten away from going to the profiles of EVERY person who responds to my own discussions. It just gets to be too daunting at times, and too time consuming. I do make a mental note though of who responds and try to make an extra effort to find them and spend a little extra time on their posts eventually.

This the second post I've seen today apologizing for not answering messages. You have your own life, you don't have to clarify why you haven't answered yet! I think everyone on here knows that each of us have their own priorities, so no worries :)

That's fine and no worries. You are freely able to do what you want and when to react on this platform. I mean, we have other things we do in our daily lives as long as we have the time to interact to this website at your own pace that's fine.
Thanks for your post.
