I Got the Message

Shortly after 6 a.m. we got the automated message that today is a no school day.
I was already up and dressed, but that is okay. I had not put on boots yet. I will stay in my slippers. Hubby has to work this morning. He has thawed food for us to have a good meal either at lunch or tonight.
Part of my hours can be claimed as sick pay/snow day and I will do so.
Maybe I will do a lot of things here at home.
Or online.
Or go back to bed.
I hope the kids enjoy their day off.

Yeah we're experiencing bad weather too here in my country. Just hope that it's good weather soon because people are affected by it. Hope you have a great day regardless!

I prefer the cold weather when it happens like it is now in the correct time of year. Sometimes we end up with cold weather when it should be getting warm.

I do not think it was extra snow that caused the cancellation, but more likely extreme cold and poor conditions on rural bus routes.

There may be a few kids that do not like them, not sure. I do not remember ever having them growing up.

@simone10 I lived in Oklahoma. I do not think we got a lot of snow very often. I just was oblivious as to whether they cancelled school. It did not register with me. I think I remember one snow day when I was in high school.
