That elusive dollar sign

It's nearly time for our MyLot payment and this time I'm going to look out for that elusive dollar sign that I always seem to miss. Does it only go up for a short time because although I see people talk about it I've never seen it?
This is a good time of the month for me as although MyLot is my only writing site now I do have one or two other short task sites which are due to pay out very soon.
Congratulations to all of you making a payment this month and if you didn't make one better luck next month.

When are the payments made? I am halfway my first payout since returning and I wonder if I could make it until the payments are made.

@sprite1950 Oh, so I will only be paid on the 15th April. I have time to accumulate a bigger amount of money.

@rappeter13 Your money will have stopped on 29th February. That's what you earned for the month so if you didn't reach $5 you won't be paid. Anyone who reached $5 or more at the end of last month will be paid on the 15th but you can keep on adding to your money and be paid on 15th April.

Your money will stop accumulating at the end of the month so you start the new month on 1st March even though the counter keeps building up. Whatever you earned up until the 29th February is where it stops and we will be paid on or around the 15th of the month. If you did not make $5 by 29th Feb you will have to wait until next time.

I wonder why you missed seeing the dollar sign. Does that mean you were not able to have a payout? What I wait for is the email from my Paypal, waheehee.

No I get my payout just fine but apparently there is a big green dollar sign which appears either side of the word MyLot at the top of the page. I've never seen it.

@Alexandoy It could be that I am sleeping when it appears as JJ said it appears when Bugsy presses the pay button and it disappears at midnight USA time. We are 5 hours ahead so I could be snoring

I never pay attention to the dollar sign, and I never seem to know when I get paid out. I do get an email notification from PayPal that money has been deposited in my account, but I never pay attention to who/what it's from, as I'm getting money sent to me there all the time by friends. I'm not one of those people who doesn't ever pay attention to their finances, I am pretty detailed when it comes to money, but everything that goes into my PayPal account is bonus money that I use at Christmas time for our week-long vacation to Disney World. So it's nice to let it build all year long, and then be a wonderful surprise in December when I open my PayPal account and see how much money is in there!

@sprite1950 Yeah, if we go out and somebody’s short on cash, I’ll cover them and they’ll pay me back later. Or a lot of times I’ll do odd jobs for people and they’ll PayPal me the money.
