There are all sorts of diets, even some to put on weight although most are for people who want to slim down.
I have tried several, each of them for a couple of weeks. After shedding half a pound and climbing in an anxiety hill where I wanted to eat not what was in the fridge but the fridge itself.
Now I read somewhere (always online lately) that a no gluten diet could help with the symptoms of arthritis including its pain. I started to check it. And I found out that there are lots of delicious food you could eat.
So I´m on a little to no gluten diet for over a week now. I´m trying.

Okay--eliminate the word try from a sentence and it becomes a positive sentence--don't try--do! And that's my words of wisdom for the day!

The fact is that I´m just making an effort. But today I did have a piece of bread with one of my hotdogs.

One friend who has actually been gluten free for 10 years says her bad headaches have disappeared. We know a teacher who has been gluten free for about 3 years now and she swears up and down that her medical conditions have greatly improved. Hope it works out for you!

There´s nothing much to lose. The gluten free diet is very simple and there are just a few things I should not eat.

It is so easy that I won´t have trouble to try it. No cereals but yes to rice and potatoes so I will not have problems with sides of dishes.

@marguicha I agree that it is not difficult and if it does not work you stop if you do not like.
