February 27 - What I'm Thankful for Today

If you think about it, every day is a good day. Every day you can find something to be thankful for. Just take one moment, right now and think about what you're thankful for and tell me the first thing that came to mind just now.
Today, I'm thankful I'm alive to enjoy another new day. A day that has never been seen before and will never be seen again, yet I am alive to witness it.
I'm thankful for going rock painting today. I got a wonderful surprise when I arrived. You can see it in the photo above. It's my new favorite hat. I will proudly wear this hat.
I'm thankful for getting the notifications done before my friend arrived this afternoon to give me a massage.
I was thankful I had mandarin oranges available and hard candy when she arrived as she is diabetic and needed it right away.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Vendetta. I'm doing a chapter at a time and it's going well. I should catch up to where I left off soon.
I'm thankful for 'me' time. I know I live alone and all of my time is 'me' time. However, even in the midst of all this 'me' time, is special 'me' time when I just relax and watch TV and let my mind veg while I recharge my brain cells so I can create works of art I hope others will enjoy reading.
I'm thankful I got all my steps in while watching TV.
I'm thankful I belong to this great site with all you wonderful people I am proud to call my friends, even though we have never met in person. We touch heart and soul in cyberspace.
I'm thankful for my friend in the office who liked the rocks I painted today.
I'm thankful for a nice warm bed that I'll be climbing into in a very short while.
I'm thankful I remembered to clean the apartment before my friend got here. It didn't take long, not even half an hour, but it's straightened up and looks good. She even complimented me on how good my apartment looks. It's the first time she was here.

Those are all very good things to be thankful for.

I'm thankful that my kritters and I are all healthy and survived another day. I know, it's a repeat, but it always comes to mind.
And I'm thankful for cyberspace, it's helping me keep my mind healthy and of course it's all the Mylotters I know and have come to think of as friends that have helped me with that.

I am thankful that my nephew has a new television to replace the one that no longer was working plus getting a television that has channels like Disney Plus, Netflix and others.

Yes at times, we need to just get back and be thankful to God that we have been given so much.
Yes there are struggles but every morning brings new hopes for us for better times.
And yes, this site is also God's gift to us in many ways!
