February Goals Report & March Goals

Here is what I hoped to accomplish last month. I almost forgot I wrote these. 1. I want to lose a minimum of 4 pounds. That's one pound a week, so it shouldn't be too hard. 2. I want to get a minimum of 5000 steps a day. 3. I want to make it to the pool a minimum of 4 times a week. Five would be awesome, but the weather in winter is always a factor. 4. I want to get the edit finished for Legacy. My goal is to publish by April, but I know I have new content to add, so it looks like June. However, if I can get this edit finished, it would be awesome. 5. I want to work on Vendetta. My goal is to have this book written by December 31 and work to publish it next year. It typically takes 6 months to write a book. If I don't have anything else I'm working on or the story stalls. So, how did I do with this? 1. Lose a minimum of 4 pounds. I was at 202.6 when I started the month of February. I ended it at 200.0. Only a two-pound loss, but it's a loss. 2. Minimum of 5000 steps a day. I've done that and more. 3. Make it to the pool 4 times a week. Winter was a factor and my knees. I did make it every week at least once and sometimes more. 4. Finish the edit for Legacy. Mission accomplished. If all goes well, I will hand the manuscript to my reader tomorrow to read and proof. It won't be published in April unless a miracle happens. And yes, I believe in miracles. 5. Work on Vendetta. Yes, I started work on it again when I finished the edit for Legacy. It looks like I accomplished half of my goals. Not bad. Now for the March goals. 1. Continue to work at losing weight. If 2 pounds was all I can do in January, I will work on two more pounds. Goal - 198. More would be nice. 2. Continue work on Vendetta. 3. With spring happening this month I should be able to make it to the pool every day, weather permitting. I won't drive in a hard rain. 4. Up my steps per day to 6000. 5. Get outside and walk, weather permitting. There you have what I accomplished in February and my March goals. Do you have goals for March? Thanks for reading. The picture is a sunrise last year.

Your goals are very obtainable! If we make them too high, it sets us up for disappointment or discouragement. I'm glad you are being realistic, so you will definitely reach these goals! You are doing a beautiful job!

You made 2 and a half goals. Plus you made the biggest one which was getting down to 200.

So proud of you. And I know if it wasn't for the bad weather you wouldn't been out to the pool more. (I know your knee is a factor too, but you do get alot of snow and icy roads). You got the March ones, piece of cake!

That's good you should be proud of yourself and I hope it all works out for you, my goals in march are just try to be me again really and get back to who I was before my babies came along, love them dearly but need to work on finding time for myself
