Today was a real bust-out. Most of the events on this date had to do with various wars, weather (blizzards), natural disasters (earthquakes) and other things that you probably wouldn't be interested in. The birthdays were just as bad. No one that I thought most people would know. However! Here are the special days: No Smoking Day (UK) Worship of Tools Day (not kidding!) On March 11th 2011 happened the nuclear incident in Fukushima. I remember that I was on myLot this day and posted a discussion about it. Not a good day for sure.

When we got our first electric pop-riveter we drank a toast to it every night for weeks. After the hand-operated one, it seemed the most wonderful invention. We put millions of pop rivets into our bus when we were converting it.
