It's raining, it's pouring.
Rain, rain go away come again another day. Like when we need it.
It started raining shortly after I got to rock painting this morning. It's coming down hard and it's cold. I doubt we'll get to 50 F today with how cold it is out there.
I hit my goal steps as I was leaving the ADRC about an hour ago, so I'll have a lot of steps today. I'm almost halfway to 7000 so I won't be surprised if this turns out to be an 8000 step day. I had over 3000 when I left the Y this morning. I had a great workout in the pool this morning. So, it's already been a good day.
I didn't know what I wanted to paint this morning. My brain was void of ideas. However, I did come up with one design, the one on the right. The rock on the left is the one I did last week and only needed to finish this week and get it podged.
I also ate at the ADRC so I won't be counting today's calories.
Now, I'm home and ready to interact and see what you've been doing on this fine Thursday. What is the weather like where you are? Thanks for reading.

in the state and town we live in we do these painted rock hide and finds for fun. it took off like a rocket from my county and spread nation wide. kids love it

Your rocks are pretty! I've never done rock painting, but I've been considering it. It looks fun.
The weather here today is unseasonably warm, low 70's, and sunny. It's supposed to be in the 50's & 60's and rainy the rest of the week (more typical).

Thank you. I never considered it either because I was never an artist. My artistic abilities woke up when I started rock painting. It's lots of fun.
I'm sorry it's unseasonably warm unless you like that. It would be too warm here this time of year. We're getting into the 40s now.

The weather is lovely at the moment, but it will probably rain this evening and part of tomorrow..and the weekend is to be unseasonably cool...back to winter. We got spoiled these past few days.

I never thought of the whale one as being a summer theme. I'm glad you like them.
