It is Suspended

So as I stated in an earlier post the NHL was looking to possibly suspend the season. Well it is official now, they suspended the season as of this afternoon. No games will be played until further notice. I guess I understand and I suppose it is the right decision to make when you have multiple games played in multiple cities in two countries. That is a lot of fans packed into stadiums the could possibly spread the virus even more. Its a odd thing to have happen, and not knowing if or when they will be able to finish this season without it affecting the next season. They usually have like 3 months off in the summer months but if this is delayed for a month it will be pushing on the next season. I guess we will see what happens. I will miss my hockey but I understand it is just a game in the over all scope of life.

@LadyDuck yea, they might have. I'm surprised that they have not closed more things with the way everyone is in panic mode.

Yes, but as a fan who mostly watches on TV I will miss the games. Of course risking everyones health is not worth me being able to watch.

@Bensen32 its a good thing its not football season as my before would be losttttt. Though. He isnt very happy with the nba not playing now.. but he's more a football guy

@Courtlynn yea, hockey is the only sport I follow and watch it most every night, or at least have it on in the background. So now what am I going to do? I have some music playing right now.

Yes, they are doing the same here. With basketball games. Even my doctor office has closed for a month. I feel it’s the right thing to do in this case. Wwe wrestling even didn’t have any fans for Friday night Smackdown last night and it just wasn’t the same at all

the doctor office closing doesn't seem like that great of an idea, what if people need to see the doctor, i guess they go to the ER.

Yeah I heard many sports have cancelled, so far racing is still on, because I am working at the track.
