With all the talk about people staying home and isolating from the world, I figured Fats Domino and his song “I’m Walkin’” could remind us of better times. I am going to venture out tomorrow though because I need to get some stuff for the weekend. However, the streets here are pretty empty except for the main avenue but I am not going to get close to anybody. Our Main Street here my friends told me makes you feel like the apocalypse has occurred. Fats Domino recorded this song in 1957 and the song rose to number one on the R&B Best Sellers chart. Later it also crossed over to the Pop Singles chart.

My friend in Canada outside of Toronto in Barrie said she went to the store and it was like a ghost town all around @porwest

@RasmaSandra Not been like that here yet. Stores are jam packed. Fast food drive throughs run to the streets. Traffic was about normal on Saturday.
