We got the thunderstorms last night as predicted. Thunder, lightning and sheets of rain.
But it is all gone now. We had tornado warnings. And as far as I know, there were no tornadoes.
Woke up to sunshine and birds singing. Will be going out again to check the bird nests and plants to see what is going on.
Seems like spring has arrived. A few cool days next week but today is beautiful.

See? Now we're suppose to be getting the same kind of storm, this evening! Parts of lower Michigan got it yesterday, but we didn't.

@CarolDM Yes, it certainly is. And I hope your warmer weather will come our way, also!

Did you find any birds nests on the ground that had fallen out of the trees from the storms? A couple of years ago, we had a storm come through and it knocked a big hawk's nest out of one of the trees by one of my pools. There were three baby hawks and although they survived the fall, they couldn't fly yet. A whole bunch of crows started gathering around the baby hawks in a big circle, slowly closing in. Momma hawk tried her best to shoo them off, but she was outnumbered. A couple of our lifeguards stepped in and rescued the baby hawks, and called an animal rehabilitation center to see if they would come get them. Sure enough, they came and took them away and said the would raise them at a sanctuary.

@CarolDM We have hawks all over the place here. They must be eating well, because it seems like their numbers are growing.

@moffittjc I like seeing them but I also know what they eat. But it is good they are not extinct.

They had some videos of a tornado that struck...but I didn't hear where it was. Glad you are safe and sound.

@CarolDM We have sunshine and 68 degrees. It doesn't get much better than that.

@LindaOHio You are right about that. It is 80 here now. But I prefer 68. Never satisfied.

From the looks of things here, we will have one tonight. Not a fan of the wind and noise, but I'm not in charge!

No birds here. The wind is too strong for them.

We're back to rainy dismal weather here today. Hopefully tomorrow the sun will shine. I can't wait for it to be nice enough to be able to sit outside. Spring is coming and the birds are singing
