Look what he’s done to my lounge

My husband loves photography and, with our activities being curtailed because of the coronavirus restrictions, he decided to set up his lights in the lounge and do some experimenting. I hadn’t realised I was to be part of the plan. There is only he and I here so for the moment I have to be the guinea pig while he tries various lighting techniques.
This afternoon, he used the delay switch on the camera and was able to take a photo of the two of us. It only took about 20 tries. Luckily we have plenty of time at the moment.
I’ve been very big-hearted and suggested he leave the lights set up for a week or so and do some more playing around while he has the chance. What I’m really doing is earning some brownie points in case I need them one day. And there is no doubt I will.
However, there is no fear about people coming to visit so I don't mind that the lounge looks a bit like a photo studio. Have your standards slipped a little over the last few weeks?

Our little housekeeper is unable to come over because of the lockdown. What's dusty and dirty will stay that way until she can come again! :-)

As I will be alone until who knows when, I have not tried to put away the vacuum cleaner. It is better that it is there, in the living room than not be used ever.

They are cumbersome things to put away. I tend to stick mine in the spare room for a week or two.

@allknowing That is sad and there is no way you can tell them what's happening.

For some reason we've usually had a big lounge. We fit about 60 in here if we have an indoor house concerts. One winter, we moved two trestles in and made picture frames for some of Vince's photos. The floor is vinyl strips so reasonably easycare. This is Emily Barker who wrote the theme song for 'Wallender'.

Oh well done! Sometimes I manage to get Vince to go through a few papers and chuck out what he doesn't need. But I can only present a very small bundle of papers at a time or he chucks a wobbly. Do you chuck wobblies?

For a second there, I thought he was setting up an in-home television studio. I thought maybe he had joined the local news station and was going to be broadcasting live from home!

@JudyEv No worries, I won't say anything to him about it.

Nice that you let him have a little space for his photography. But I can see where that might be a little...less than wanted at the moment. Yep. Get those brownie points. We ALL need brownie points stored away for just the right circumstances. Not sure if we've "let our sails go" much during this time. Business as usual with a few minor details altered.

We need to keep ourselves occupied so we don't start to get anxious and depressed.

We are lucky to have a room big enough for all his gear.
