I just started a new Tumblr blog. I have 10 of them. They are microblogs. Tumblr is kind of like Twitter on steroids. The cool thing is that now I have a great place where I can save a lot of these cool MyLot posts that share the history of my favorite songs. I really like this Tom Petty song.
It took me a while to come up with the name for my blog. Every time I tried to name my blog I kept getting the message "That name is already taken". I finally came up with a name nobody has used. I called the blog "My Music Spirit". The difference between Tumblr and all of the other social media sites like Twitter and Pinterest is that Tumblr creates monthly archives of your posts. It's easier to go back and take trips down memory lane. I am going to have huge fun with these music posts. Sharing them might actually attract new members to this community.
I share music posts from Virily. But that site is not accepting new members. Folks there are getting worried because they think the site might be showing early warning signs of closing down. I don't get it! MyLot is like it's here forever and other sites are like ... they just can't hang! I don't get it! I really don't! Weird!
Sorry. Didn't mean to ramble. I love Tom Petty!
