Surprised with Tulip Blooms

Was walking around the yard this morning to see what I could find. And surprise, the tulip buds are starting to open. With the sunshine they were just perfect. I snapped a few photos to share. Hopefully there will be more to come soon. The little things are what make my day. This is one of those from my world to yours. Enjoy what you can today. Many things are around us to bring a smile.

I've been watching one come up through the mulch but until I either get up to look out my window or wait until I go outside shortly I won't know if mine is budding yet or not.

@CarolDM as of yesterday I finally have a bus starting and I also found several older tulips near the driveway where my husband parks that has tulips yet to bloom and there's another hyacinth there too.

oh, pretty tulips. i once asked my hubby to buy me a tulip but he declined as it is 8$ a piece here. he said i could not eat it
