Bored again - cheese scones this time

My resilience must be slipping. I got bored the other day and made a banana cake. As most of you know, I really don’t like cooking. Today, I made cheese scones. We don’t seem to have much in the way of snacks in the house, not that we snack much anyway. Maybe I was just putting off the cleaning. Anyway, today it was cheese scones and very nice they were too.
They’re best fresh but they’ll still be nice tomorrow. Maybe then I’ll try a carrot cake. I have Splenda which is a sugar substitute as Vince has Type 2 diabetes. I’ll leave the carrot cake till next week. Three cooking days in a week would be much too much. I’d probably break out in hives.

See what boredom will do? You're getting creative! The heck with the cleaning. It'll just get dirty again. :-)

@JudyEv Good job. Our cupboards need a purging and stuff needs to be donated.

@JudyEv I will wait until the lockdown is lifted--I think it might be the igniter --so I may try to fix it myself if I get really frustrated--

Your cheese scones do look good.
Seems that many of us are spending more time in the kitchen lately.
Banana cake and carrot cake are making my mouth water

@JudyEv definitely. Some days I am busy and then others I feel so stressed. It's a big bag of mixed emotions

@JimBo452020 That's a good thing. It means you're unique - not run-of-the-mill like the rest of us.

cheese scone baking is a good idea! I can't eat too much of normal scones but guess I could keep the cheese scones for a few days (for snack). I have been eating popcorns out of boredom. I eat peanuts too. Can't think of what else to eat (beside dinner).
