She is tested positive for CoVid 19 virus

I posted about my sister in US right now that I think has contracted the virus. It took me several days to write something about her condition. I seem to be kind of in denial despite my initial doubts that she has it based from what she described to me. But she just told me she was positive a couple of days ago. What is good about it right now is that she only has mild symptoms on her. She only has fever and has not shown to have the cough and colds yet. She is observing herself at home right now. I am just praying that it would not develop into something that is more serious like that.

@rsa101 Oh no! If it's a mild symptom she can easily get rid of it. Does the US governement prescribe some medicine for it? ( i heard there are some medicines they are looking into.)

@Janet357 I do not know for now they would only prescribe the usual medicines to stop the symptoms from worsening. There is no direct medical cure for this virus yet.

Yes I think she will have to stay for another week for that and should rest more to strengthen her immune system.

@LadyDuck we are constantly in contact with her. So far she hasn’t shown any symptoms that may endanger her except the fever that comes in and out.

@rsa101 The best is to rest so that the body can fight the virus.

She didn’t even got into that stage just fever only. I am hoping it’s a false positive she got. That’s why I think she needed to be tested again to see if she is negative this time. I hope she would be tested again to confirm.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I know but she was asked to repot to work already without being tested again. This astonishes me why they would allow her to go back to work.

I hope she will recover faster. If she's tested positive though, should she be in the hospital for treatment. I think it is just a symptom for now but not the virus.

@LowRiderX Yes I was also worried for some time about her but she didn’t show any symptoms like the one I was afraid of seeing in her. Looks like my prayers for her worked for her.

If she is still young with no underlying medical conditions, asymptomatic or just showing mild symptoms then there's a big chance she would be fine. Let's pray it stops there while 2 weeks or more passes, no deterioration and things like that.

She is older by me by three years so she has already reach her golden years already. I am hoping that her good disposition about her condition will help her go through this trying times in her.

I hope too. But until the virus is active and spreading I am sure she will continue to be exposed to it since she is an emergency nurse there so the virus is sure to be plenty in her workplace.

I'm sick with all the symptoms right, and I'm waiting to hear back on my test results to see if I have the virus. If I have it, I only have mild symptoms, like your sister. We can consider ourselves two of the lucky ones!

Thanks for that she is back to work. And she’s one who’s fighting in the frontline. I hope this nasty virus would be defeated soon so our medical frontliners can finally rest too.

She is positive but she did not get the worse symptoms of the virus just fever. She was asked if she could return back to work because many of her colleagues are overwhelmed by people asking for help. She is not having fever for a couple of days so she reported back to work.

Well all the news is not bad. As soon as I get two negative tests they are hoping that my plasma will help others. I was devastated at first, but now just grateful it was me and not anyone more compromised. (Yes, I just said I was grateful it was me and it felt right. I think my mental state just made a little shift towards better. Thanks for this. You made me see something that is so important. Odd how strangers and really help and change lives.
