in case, based on the previous posts you haven't realized, I am a huge Steve Martin fan. I saw him in person during his Let's get Small and then during his Wild and Crazy guy tours.
I love his stuff!!!
This one is one of his classic SNL skits.
Two wild and crazy guys!
what is your favorite Steve Martin Skit?
From Steve Martin: The Television Stuff, available 9/18/12 from Shout! Factory. Buy the DVD: http://www.shoutfactory.com/?q=node/215970

@DocAndersen *squeals* LOVE IT! My dad, brother and I saw Steve Martin and Martin Short last year. So much laughter. Those guys are talented. And I'm very familiar with that skit! Funny enough, it was only just yesterday I was talking to my dog in that way. Shaking towards him.

@DocAndersen It has had about three good sets of casts. But it has been a LOOONNNGGG time since they have had a good one recently. I really wish the show could have a great cast again. But not sure it is possible.

@porwest it really isn't as important a comedy place as it used to be.

I absolutely love Steve Martin! I was a little kid when he was on SNL, but I still wanted to stay up late just to watch him on the show! Luckily, my parents let me, as they though SNL was great too. Two Wild & Crazy Guys was probably the sketches that I remember the most from back in those days. King Tut is another one of his acts that I loved too.

@DocAndersen I don't think I've ever seen that movie. My favorite Steve Martin movie is Parenthood, because scenes from that movie were filmed at the University of Florida while I was a student there. I remember skipping class quite a few times to go on set to watch them film. It was awesome getting to see Steve Martin in person, although I didn't get to meet him.

Steve Martin is great! I can go for any of his skits from SNL, but we recently watched this one . . . his MJ spoof on Billie Jean

Neither did mine nor did they like SNL but I can't say I really liked it either for the most part @DocAndersen It was funny whenever Steve Martin was on it but too much of SNL was slapstick which I never really liked.

I have to say....those two characters kinda wore thin on me. They weren’t the Killer Bees or the Coneheads (remember Frank Zappa taking Connie out on a date?)....funny once, but not as a recurring skit. There, I said it.
But I do love both Dan and Steve.
