Is there a way to LEAVE a group on Facebook?

I am a member a "group" on Facebook that has been attacked by many bots and scams. I want to leave the group but do not know how. I noticed that many of my friends (people I know in the real world) have left the group, but I cannot see how to do it. I clicked on every icon I can find, and cannot see how I can leave the group. I assume this is by design. Do you know how to "leave" a group on Facebook?

@TheHorse I keep my facebook very limited on friends. It is a place I want to enjoy and if they are always doing drama or crap posts I unfriend.

@wolfgirl569 It's weird how Facebook has "wormed" its way into our lives. I would prefer an email or phone call.

I think I may have escaped, but I'm not sure. It's amazing how they make it so difficult. I would like to leave Facebook entirely.

I don't know how to do it. I'm part of two groups.

@just4him I think I escaped that one. The others I'm not so worried about.

@Tina30219 I'm still a tad miffed at Facebook for making it so difficult, at least for this old fart.

I think I may have succeeded. Can I still be ticked off at Zuckerberg and his ilk for making it so hard?

@TheHorse As you said, maybe it's by design.

You should be able to go to members and delete yourself, or ask one of the ADMs to remove you.

That sounds compicated. How do I get in touch with one of the "ADMs"?

Hmm, let's see if this could help. I left some Facebook groups because of the overflowing toxicity. Once I joined this so called philosophy group, but soon left after due to a number of man-children in the comment section.
When you leave a Facebook group, you'll no longer get group notifications or see group posts in News Feed.

I see that JJ already supplied the step by step of how to do. I was going to give you the link of the FB help page on how to leave a group.

Another bothersome thing about Facebook is when you get friend requests from people you're already friends with. I guess it's a scam of some sort.

Youtube is good for finding "how to" videos. I was even able to change a fog light light bulb on my truck with their help.
