According to a site I check, today it is raining here.
Well, it had rained overnight, I think. It is gorgeous now and if this is rain I hope we get more of it tomorrow.
Things have not gone as we planned the last few days.
I noticed my driver's rear tire looked low. We filled it and made plans to drive down by the shed and fill it at home, then take it to be fixed or replaced.
We did not get it done and it got really flat. We had to do something.
It took both of us, but we got the spare out and changed the tire, so we could drive to McPherson Wal Mart.
They would fix it, but would not put it back on. It seems the home office has forbidden them to do any work that they would have to get inside a car for.
In fact, today was the first day they were even allowed to do things like the tire repair.
If the weather is like this tomorrow, we will put the tire back on and the spare back in the trunk. There was a nail in our tire.
Again, it will likely take both of us to do it, but we will get it done.

I think we got your rain. 
I may not know a lot about car maintenance, but why would one have to get inside a car to change a tire? Do cars now come with tire ejection buttons?

They would have to drive it onto the lift, I guess, and corporate says "no."

Well, since we managed to get it off, I think it will be easier when we put it back on. Looks like they changed the forecast to sunny now, which is nice.

Yeah, this is Wal Mart. Also this is Kansas. I think there is a shop about twenty miles or so away that might do it. We took it to Wal Mart because we have a tire protection plan on our tires and the tire shops and dealerships were not open on Sunday afternoon.

Yes. The spare is fine. Would rather have the other, though. We will get it changed out today. Hubby is working on building back his strength.

To drive it onto the lift. Hubby offered to back it up to the door and have them use a jack but they said "no". Maybe they do not have a jack but just the lift.

We had a day last week that the one forecast was calling for significant rain and it ended up gorgeous all day long. Good luck with the tire.

The tires will get changed out today. Yes, that is exactly what happened. It said rain, all day, but we had some of the nicest weather you would ever want.

We sometimes go a week at a time or more. Do start it up at least to keep the battery charged.
