A few weeks ago I cleaned the house. I found my mom's music cassettes in a whole big bag. Oh... They are real rubbish now since we don't even have a cassette player today Besides, today there are various kinds of music online and I shall ask my mom whether she can give up the cassettes

We copied the cassettes on DVDs using a small device attached to the computer.

@youless I used a software to "clean" the sound, the result is a lot better than the original tape.

I like that idea. I'd really be interested in doing that myself!

Not too quick. They can be considered vintage and be worth more in the market.

My thoughts here too. You know how everything that ages with time grows in value especially to collectors and there'll always be someone out there whose interested in something. As they say, nothing's gonna ever be junk.

Really? Perhaps the black records are worthy?

Unfortunately the rubber of my tape was broke so it can't run the cassette.

If you had been closer, I'd give your mother one of my cassette players. I think I've got two, maybe three somewhere.

@youless It would be nice if someone could use them. They're quite OK I think, which is why I haven't thrown them away. Maybe I should see online of someone wants them

My mother used to collect music cassettes but we told her it`s useless nowadays since we can`t find a player anymore. So she threw away it all

We used to have a lot of cassette tapes but for a while they started to rot and sound became awful when you play them. I have a few of them but i used for other purproses.

I still have a lot of cassette tapes I've made over the years. I play them sometimes on an old cassette player which has not broken yet (fingers crossed). But your right their outdated and soon my CD's will be too
