High School Pictures

As I mentioned in my Signing Off 4/19/20 Discussion, I saw a new batch of posts on Facebook in which people were putting up their high school pictures. This interested me; so I thought I would do one of my own.
I graduated from high school at the age of 17. I majored in Business; and the high school I attended was one of the top 10 in the nation at the time and was extremely tough academically. The picture I have posted shows me without my glasses. (I hated the way I looked in glasses.) When I went to work after college, I bought my first pair of contacts.
Dig the hairdo! lololol Looks like a helmet. And my mother had me wear her pearls.
So. Do you have a high school picture that you can post? If not, how about one from when you were around 18 years old? Tell us a little bit about the high school that you attended. Jeff has warned me not to list the year that you graduated or what the name of the high school is. Hackers can use this information. So keep your comments general. Thanks!

You were very pretty! I'll have to see if I can find one of me at that age.

You look absolutely stunning in the photo! It's a great picture!
I do not have any photos of myself that far back. Have a bunch from college, but they are buried in a box up in the attic somewhere. I had tons of high school photos, but most of them got thrown out accidentally when my parents moved to a new house while I was in college. They thought the boxes I had stacked in my closet at the time were full of junk; they never took the time to dig through them and pick out what was worth keeping (fortunately, most of the stuff in the boxes was junk, but somewhere in all that heap were my high school photos and yearbooks).

@LindaOHio I don't know that I would want to show my high school photos even if I did have some! I went to high school in the 80s, and heavy metal was popular on the music scene. I was a metalhead with super long hair! Yes, I was a headbanger! lol

Interesting hairdo. What year was that? I have very few pictures of me and I was in a flood so my yearbook got lost in the flood. Very true. So you do not have to tell me the year then.

That is ok. I did not like High School anyways. Actually the flood destroyed my yearbook. That is ok too. I just saw that you put the year and thank you for that. I graduated in 1968.

This started on facebook to "honor " the seniors that wouldn't get a proper graduation ceremony because of the pandemic.
I saw something that I think sums it up nicely. "Showing graduation pictures to students who can't have a ceremony is like showing your house to a homeless person".
