Do You Like Having Your Picture Taken?

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a great day so far. We had Red Lobster delivered last night. I love popcorn shrimp! You can tell restaurants aren't running with a full crew because our meal was lukewarm. Usually, it's still hot. But I'm not really complaining because I understand.
Yesterday I was thinking about my driver's license renewal and was wondering if I would have to have another photo taken. I hate having my picture taken. That's why there aren't that many pictures of me. I guess it's because I don't like being the center of attention and that's how I feel when my picture is taken. I can't tell you how many pictures there are of me hiding...lol. Do you like having your picture taken?

I used to be shy with the camera until the digital camera came along. Now I am used to taking selfies, waheehee.

@DocAndersen Well, I don't blame her there. There are certain situations where you have to have your picture taken like graduation and weddings.

@LadyDuck I hated it back when I was younger too. When my ex and I were dating, we were out by a lake and he pulled out his camera. I went to hide behind a tree about the time he snapped my picture. It looks like my nose is stuck in the tree.

They should have your photo on file (the photo that is on your current license), so you shouldn’t have to get it retaken. I think you have the option to retake it if you want to. I don’t mind having my photo taken, but I don’t go out of my way to be in pictures either.

@simone10 Given my preference, I would rather not have my picture taken, but I also do not go out of my way to avoid them either.

That sounds like a delicious meal. I haven't been to Red Lobster in 2-3 years for my birthday. I hate having my picture taken too. My ID expires next month, so I hope to renew it real soon. I lost my SSC card somehow and need to go to Social Security for a new one at some point this spring.

in some "special occasions" - yes. but i'm not the type to be taking selfies or ask others to randomly take photos of me

I`m the same with you. I don`t like my picture taken. I don`t know the reason but I don`t feel to good with pictures only when my husband insisted

I hate it too! I take my own pictures because I can adjust the angle and decide for myself weather I like them. I get squinty eyed when having to take official photos.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I definitely don't like how I look in selfies as it's too close up. I prefer pictures farther away from the camera.
