She made 29 films from the ages of 3-10 and 14 from the ages of 14-21. She retired from films in 1950 at the age of 22. Gosh, that Coke thing was a TOTAL disaster. I am not even sure what was going through ANYONE'S mind about doing that. You built your ENTIRE company on this iconic brand, and then you change it? It's a business decision that will defy business logic for generations to come.

@LindaOHio Even a name change can sometimes make people go beserk. When I worked for Coke we only changed the name of Diet Sprite to Sprite Zero. The formula was exactly the same, but people SWORE we changed the formula. lol

I remember the whole New Coke fiasco. I think what upset people was that the old coke was no longer available.

I'll bet it's deelish. Hubs and I are going to make a cheesecake from my recipe soon. Has to be a 2-man job. He does the running around; and I make it....but he could do it too.

Cheesecake my favorite dessert! Now that's a day to celebrate! I remember that new coke thing. A disaster! As I say if it's not broke don't fix it. I remember Sandra Dee from the movies Gidget, which became a TV series for Sally Field
Also Tammy, a charming romantic comedy.
