She was an American actress, singer, dancer, businesswoman and diplomat. Temple began her movie career in 1932 at the age of 3. She was the #1 box office draw as a child star from 1935-1938 and received a Juvenile Academy Award in 1935 for her outstanding contribution as a juvenile performer in films. She made 29 films from the ages of 3-10 and 14 from the ages of 14-21. She retired from films in 1950 at the age of 22. Over the years she was appointed to the boards of major corporations and organizations. She began her diplomatic career in 1969. She passed away in 2014. 1942 - Sandra Dee was born. She was an American actress and model. She started her career as a child model in commercials and then appeared in the movies in her teenage years. Her big breakthrough came in 1959 with the movies Gidget and Imitation of Life. She was married to Bobby Darin from 1960-1967.
