Homemade Chicken Soup and Pizza for Dinner

I know it sounds disgusting, but what’s a girl to do?
We have to eat, and we have to eat up everything that’s in our freezer in the next 11 days.
Yes, 11 days to go before we return to our house up north.
In normal times, I’d give what’s left in my freezer to friends and neighbors, but I’m not getting within 6 feet of anyone.
What’s on your table for dinner?

@DianneN if it's good then it wouldn't matter if it is frozen or not. I miss pizza but all stores here are closed.

@Alexandoy Right! Some of ourrestaurants are open for takeout, but I don’t trust anyone cooking my food now.

@DianneN With our meals being at home each night, it's fun to get creative:) Jay was very happy with our dinner, tonight! Tomorrow? I'm still undecided, but maybe over-fried chicken.

That doesn't sound disgusting at all! Oh gosh, I imagine you have to eat what's in your freezer morning, noon, and night - 11 days . . . that's coming up soon! My daughter wanted to make sliders tonight . . . she and Hubby made spaghetti and meatballs the other night!

@DianneN I wouldn't want all that good food to go to waste either. I wonder if you can tell a neighbor or friend that you could do a door drop off and leave - that way you don't have to be near anyone?
The sliders came out great! She took dinner rolls and sliced them . . . she had a choice of those or Hawaiian rolls.

@much2say I’d have to waste a mask doing that here, and masks are so dear. We toss them after every use.
By the time we leave, there won’t be anything left.
Great idea about the dinner rolls. I’ve never found those cute little slider rolls that restaurants use. Thanks! So glad the sliders came out so well!

I know it's getting late in the evening now, but I still haven't eaten dinner, or even decided what I want for dinner. I had a super big lunch today, so I haven't even really felt hungry. But if I don't eat my stomach will be growling in the middle of the night when I'm trying to sleep. So I'll probably just heat up a can of soup, or make a quick sandwich.

I am so very sorry. We are all eating and doing things we would normally would not do. Before, your posts included your awesome dates to nice restaurants with your husband. Now be happy that you have the soup, the pizza but specially a wonderful husband with you.
