Another Exciting Day

Happy Wednesday Everyone! can you believe we have a sunny day here today....that's two days in a row!! Whoohoo
As usual not much going on. What could be new?? 
I'm starting the day with the same old routine....making the bed, shower, getting dressed, coffee and now breakfast.
My breakfast isn't even exciting....same old wheat toast with peanut butter and a handful of red grapes.
Of course more coffee!!
I'm blaming quarantine on the lack of excitement but if truth be told my days aren't that much different. I guess somewhere in my mind I thought the days before were much more exciting but realistically they weren't.
I stayed home most of the time and I lost track of what day it was pretty frequently 
Anyway, life goes on and I'm happy to be alive and well.
Can you believe we're almost at the end of another month? As boring as life is these days the months are still flying by.

Being retired isn't much different than this quarantine/lockdown. I'm doing much the same as always too. The only difference is that I can't go out to the pool, church, or rock painting, and Writer's Guild will be canceled for the second month in a row. At least some things remain the same. I can gauge the day by what's happening in the neighborhood - garbage day is Tuesday, lawn care day is Wednesday, though I don't think we'll see it today with the rain, and the mid-week siren goes off at noon every Wednesday. Otherwise, all days look and feel the same.
I hope you enjoyed your coffee and I sincerely hope you have a good day. Having the sun is a good sign of a good day.

I'm sure you miss your pool, rock painting , church etc. I miss having lunch with my daughters and our shopping trips.
Today was lawn day here too so I knew it was Wed and tomorrow is trash day

@just4him I'm extremely happy that my youngest daughter lives with me. She's great company and does a lot to help around the house. When she moved back home (after her divorce) she brought the two dogs which turned out to be wonderful for me. They're great company too.

@Marilynda1225 We went out for groceries this morning. I lucked out and found a pretty pot of pansies that I picked up at the grocery store. Our nurseries are all closed, as are the stores that sell planters such as that.

I am glad you had two sunny days in a row. Yesterday was Wednesday here and it was our Independence Day in Israel. Israel turned 72. I know it is something another month almost over. Maybe you could have something different for breakfast to jazz it up, like an omelette or something else?

Good Morning!
Today's routine is slightly off kilter because of the roof people. I would have gone to the store this morning, but they showed up bright and early and I knew I wouldn't be able to go. They've taken over the driveway and yard with their vehicles.

I agree time is flying by @Marilynda 1225 and like with you... the quarantine/lock down has not really had that great an impact on our lives... except for meeting friends once a week... but I can still chat with them so that's ok...

I still talk to my friends too and at least once a week we do a zoom with the family (usually on Sundays)
I do miss my grandchildren a lot but I know it's better for us all to be apart right now and stay healthy.

My life is the exact same, just more paranoid haha I'm kind of just done with April, it had its moment and totally failed us, so we can look forward to the future for something good to finally happen, hopefully.
