Home alone for a few hours

Some of our restrictions have been lifted and today, for the first time for some months, Vince has gone to play golf with his friends. There will only be three or four others and there is no where to go for coffee so I guess they’ll play their game and come home. We can gather in groups of up to ten now. It seems 60-70% of children have gone back to school while others are learning online. The geographical restrictions are still in place. It seems strange being in the house on my own. I should get up to some mischief while I have the chance. Maybe I'll throw out his oldest jumper while he's not looking. Photo from a bygone era when Herc used to come golfing with us.

Restrictions have been different even in different states here. In our area they reopened golf a couple of weeks ago, but no golf carts and score keeping through an app. No pencils.

It was much the same here - and only two people but now bigger groups can play.

@JudyEv I guess every place decides what they think is best for them to open what and when. I read this morning that they will open schools to some grades now but did not read the article. I read before that there were parents that were concerned about sending their children back to school. I do not blame them.

I'm glad Herc did not go golfing with me. My slice might have ended his life early.

We used to worry about him when he'd go down ahead of us but he never rver got hit. Vince hit a roo once but there wasn't much force behind the ball by the time it reached her.

@JudyEv They just lifted a few things yesterday such as some retailers you can pick up curbside but we are still wearing masks and no school for kids..which is insane for me as these brats next door are loud and obnoxious lol

@Hannihar I wouldn't do it but I don't think he would be too cross as the sweater is full of holes from when he has been welding. Sparks have hit the jumper and burnt tiny holes in the fabric.

He did have fun thanks but only one other turned up which was good really. The others were busy with other things. But another 3 or 4 should turn up next week.

@DocAndersen When Vince would have a practice hit down the paddock we occasionally lost balls to crows. As the ball landed the crow would fly in and make off with it.

It has a lot of little holes in the front from welding sparks but for some reason I'm not allowed to throw it out.

I have the feeling the the word " jumper" does not mean the same than here in Canada.

Go with the jumper, if he notice simply say "I have no idea where you put it" They cannot find anything without our help.

@JudyEv So early?? My husband was not coming up after breakfast, I went down and he was searching for the manual of one of his cameras. I told him in which drawer it was, he replied he already checked and it was not there. Well, I opened the drawer and on top of everything there was the manual!!!

Starting on Monday, our state (Florida) will enter phase 1 of our re-opening plan, and like your area, will allow groups of up to 10 to gather. Restaurants can re-open for dining, but only at 25% capacity.

Sounds nice to get out and gold and to have the house to yourself. Hubby is used to the house to himself while I work. Maybe that is why he keeps saying I am sitting too much and should go for a drive

He was our pet sheep and Vince used to practice in our paddock so he wasn't in any danger of getting it. If you want more stories about him you could search for 'Hercules' on here.
