DON'T clean a cut with hydrogen peroxide. Wash the cut with warm water and apply a thin coat of bacitracin (available over-the-counter) and then cover with a bandage. Hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria; but it also destroys skin cells.
DO swap peanut butter for almond butter. Almond butter has 88% more calcium than peanut butter.
DO treat athlete's foot with salt water. Soak your feet in salt water to fight athlete's foot and decrease excess sweating.
DO treat thinning hair with a scalp massage. Doctors state that massaging the scalp increases circulation and stimulates hair follicles. Before you shampoo, massage your scalp with your fingertips, rubbing in a circular motion for a few minutes.
DO (for the ladies) use a rose-toned lipstick to add fullness and define lips. Rose tones work with most skin types.
