Finally!
Today I have booked accommodation on the mountain Kopaonik.
The second largest mountain massif in Serbia, about 300 km far away from where I live.
It will be a short break, an extended weekend, but I certainly couldn't stay longer due to business obligations.
I'm really looking forward to it, after all these days of isolation, I will enjoy my stay in nature, before I get back to work wholly.
Are you planning to travel somewhere at least shortly after this pandemic?
The photo is mine, taken during my last stay on Kopaonik in November 2019

That's quite a distance that may be 4 to 5 hours drive. You are lucky that you can travel there. We cannot do that for now because of the checkpoints.

@LowRiderX there is a forest resort that is about 3 hours away that is not crowded for sure. We go there every summer. There are monkeys, bats and lots of birds. I'm sure there are only few people there if ever. But we cannot travel here because of the checkpoints.

@Alexandoy Yes, it is far away, but there is a highway almost to the mountain. But at least without a 4 hour drive you can't get there.
Well yes, staying in nature in the fresh air can’t hurt, there’s also no crowds even though there are people. The emphasis will be on walking and as much time as possible to spend outside

@LowRiderX The mountains are always beautiful and so I'm sure you will enjoy your visit. I remember going to a ski resort in the summer and we did a lot of cycling and hiking.

@kanuck1 That's what I'm looking forward to, hiking! There are a lot of locations on that mountain that I want to visit now, I didn't arrive in November when I was. There is an interesting geyser, the water jet reaches a height of 5m, I want to see that, then huge anthills (I want to sit on the anthill and take a photo)
then waterfalls etc.

@kanuck1 Yes, the color of my socks matches the ambiance
Now there is no snow up on the mountain, they say that spring is the most beautiful on that mountain, I don't know, I'll check. Most people go to the mountains in the winter

@LowRiderX Yes, the stresses of being in lockdown are tremendous.
My doctor is questioning if that is a reason why some of my lab worked came back not quite as good as it should have.

@Juliaacv Very possibly, I'm already looking forward to as soon as I think I'll look at the mountain peaks in the greenery around me, if I'm lucky I might see some deer ... I'll pick mountain flowers, drink morning coffee in the fresh air, visit some places I want see and I didn't arrive in November when I was.
It is true that fresh air improves the blood picture

@Juliaacv Thank you
I decided to go because there are not many people (there are, but less than in the city) but there is nature and clean air. We will travel by car. I think that ventilating our heads would come in handy, I'm sick of the walls, I want to look at the green space and in the mountain peaks

@DianneN That mountain house is perfect, just the way I like it. It is made of wood and stone, next to the fireplace there is also a sauna and the view extends to the endless mountain peaks ... perfection.

@birjudanak It's as if the pandemic never happened here, everything somehow returned to normal. This is where I plan to travel in my country, I go with my family (we certainly live together) so going to a relatively isolated environment can't hurt, while in the fresh air, it's much worse to stay here in the city

@dya80dya I watched the Carpathians on the internet, is it expensive there? Accommodation in a village at the foot of the mountain?
