Happy Happy Friday! What another beautiful day in my area.
I have so much for which to woot about today!
First, it’s my favorite day of the week, Friday, and Friday date night!
We don’t go out these days to fancy, romantic restaurants, but make it special in our home.
Second, it’s Memorial Day weekend in the USA, a three day weekend that commemorates all men and women who have died in military service. It’s also been seen as the traditional start to the summer season, my favorite season. Not much celebrating happening in my little town or state this year.
The last thing I have to woot about is that someone offered our younger son $800,000 more than he paid for his house almost two years ago. A realtor left him a letter in his mailbox. AND, it’s not even up for sale! Nope, he’s not interested in selling or moving at all, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. We do love having him so close to us.

Happy, happy Friday! No restaurants period for us - I am perfectly fine cooking everything at home. I don't know of any Memorial Day happenings around here either. Oh wow, that is quite a house offer! But I'm glad your son is staying put - I know how much it means for him to be close to you - and I'm sure for him too. I don't know how the housing market works at this time . . . I mean, we were wondering too that if you sell, where does one safely go . . . I wouldn't even want to think about the logistics of moving right now - no way.

. I wouldn't be into house showing - whether I was selling or buying. I read some of the comments from realtors on social media - I really don't agree with some of the things said to keep things safe - it doesn't sound safe to me

Many thanks. There is no way on earth I would want to be inside someone’s house nor would I want anyone being in mine.
It’s a germ free zone, and that’s how I want to keep it.
No amount of money is worth it.
The market is picking up a lot here. It’s probably because people want to get out of the city and have their own house and land.
We have been looking online at waterfront property. No house. Just land.

My hubs is grilling tonight. What? I do not know until it’s time to eat. All I know is that I’m not cooking tonight.
Whose kids would I use?. They went to an abandoned beach when it hit 80 degrees in NYC while we were still in Florida. I’d guess about 4 weeks ago. Thanks!

Someone really wants that home, in the worst way! That's a large chunk of change LOL Friday has always been a special day, to me. It's a day that I have always looked forward to:) My father didn't die in Okinawa, but I'm still thankful that he became a military sergeant, who laid down his life at the tail end of WWII.

@DianneN Actually, Dad did fine, when he served our country. Upon returning home, his eyes had definitely been opened up, to the reality of war. I read about it in history books and pray to never experience it.

I guess those are your grandchildren. That's a very good yoga pose that I could do with so much ease till I developed some health complications and was advised not to do so. My daughters can do it so effortlessly and then can even walk with their hands for a while.
Enjoy you favorite day. Yesterday we had our Friday night ritual of movie and we watched it till 3 in the morning.

@DianneN Now I am not able to do that because of blood rush. Never felt that during young age.
