Grilled Cheese for Dinner

The weather is heating up here, along with the humidity. Staying inside most of the day.
I did fill up the bird bath and gave the birds fresh water. Checked for nests, did not see any new ones.
Decided on a simple grilled cheese dinner. Maybe a few kosher dill pickles on the side. Light dinners for the next few warm and hot months.

@CarolDM my dad used to use good cheese and bread. He was horrified when I added pickles!

One of these days I am going to make myself a gourmet grilled cheese. I was watching a cooking show and this lady made a grilled cheese sandwich and she let her guest taste it. He was like "Oh my gosh! This is amazing!" And she says: "Isn't it though? At first people say 'Oh! It's just a grilled cheese sandwich.' But when they taste it they go 'THAT IS AMAZING!'" Ever since I saw that show I keep saying to myself "I'm going to make a gourmet grille cheese sandwich." But I haven't done it yet

@CarolDM - I have one daughter that love to make grilled cheese sandwiches and the other one likes to make quesadillas. Whenever they make them I enjoy them.

I've never prepared this, I don't know if just bread and cheese would be enough for me, I'm used to having several different types of food for a meal

I also love pickles with a sandwich. But my pickles is the sweet mixed pickles.

I was thinking of waffle and cheese in the middle, but settled for pizza roll for breakfast... still noon yet at Hawaii. Birds enjoying sunny mild days chirping away.
