I am hearing that some states, cities , are opened back up. Yet many are still wearing masks and such and a lot are not. I tried to call my doctors office about the blood test results only to find out they are closing earlier now.
So if everything is open why can I still not order online ? During this time too much has changed too fast . I can't wrap my head around it all.
Is it just me or are you confused also?

Every state, and even every town in each state have always been doing their own thing during this time. As they go by their results of the virus. But everyone should still be wearing masks, in my opinion. As its not over yet.

Right. Like there are parts of Maryland that have started phase one of reopening, but masks are still mandatory inside establishments. Our Governor has pretty much said that we're going to be wearing the masks for quite a while if we want to safely reopen.

@Courtlynn that is one of the things so confusing and crazy. You see people all around here doing different crazy things.
my daughter says even though she is wearing hers, most people aren't and just walk right near you in the stores

@DianneN yes and so many other plagues we have had. We learned what was causing and spreading others. I just hope we find out soon about this one

This is because we have no true NATIONAL leadership, either because they cannot or do not care that we are about to have 100,000 DEATHS.
This is unthinkable and unforgivable.

Why can't you order online? From who? Things change from day to day.

from Walgreens I tried Walmart and Target already and most everything said out of stock or only in stores
Then I went clear through Walgreens no problem till the very end and it wouldn't let me check out no matter what I did. I just gave up

@bunnybon7 Hmmm. I have no idea what the problem could be. Sometimes trying another browser works.

It is a very confusing time in a lot of places I think! Not sure why it differs so much everywhere, except that some places were not affected quite as bad.

could be why some are more lax with opening up or still insisting on staying in
It's just such a nightmare

I think we're going to get to a point where masks are required everywhere. So far, in my state, I have only seen masks insisted on in hair and nail salons. Other states require it at the grocery store. It's very up in the air, isn't it.

I'm not confused, as it goes by state, city, town, etc. Some places have more cases than others. Most of the areas in my state (Maryland) have started phase one of reopening, but my city in MD (Baltimore City) has not because our numbers are still too high. It just depends on how many people are testing positive, admitted into the hospital and ICU, recovering, dying, etc., and even how many test kits and sites are available in each area.
While most of our state has started to reopen, masks are going to required inside of establishments here for a while, as they want to keep the hospitals from becoming overwhelmed again.

Yes. I am especially confused when I try to listen to the governor or California give a "Corona Virus update".

Everything is not open, but might be allowed to be open.
There are businesses here that are waiting and doing their job (including the veterinarian) at the curb.
Some will not open now but have said they are waiting to see what happens to others.

I just look to see what is happening outside my window. People here are not wearing masks but then in this part of Daytona Beach most of the time streets are fairly empty and even before all this I could walk to the store and not meet anybody.

What I learned at the beginning of the pandemic - Stay tuned things change daily!
Things are opening up here in Alberta. Businesses have protocols to follow. It can all change again if cases go up or as they research and get more safety recommendations.
Some businesses add even more safety measures than required. 2 places I went today, all staff wore masks. At the dentist, they took Hubby's temperature. At the pharmacy they came out to see what he wanted.
It is strongly suggested we wear masks too. I am happy to wear one.

I did find some special no rinse washing clothes delivered which will help me a lot. Finding things here and there
I just hate ordering where they tack on shipping costs because walmart spoiled me to that

Our state has been good about announcing what is allowed. But some places are choosing to stay closed yet.

This is a NATIONAL EMERGENCY. The declaration of NE means that the NATIONAL GOVERNMENT should be leading our efforts in this pandemic. The national GOVERNMENT is NOT leading the effort. Apparently the people at the head of our government either are not interested or do not care to lead the fight against COVID-19. This is TERRIBLY, and I cannot understand it either.

Same here. I don't know which ones are open up and which ones are not. Some shops are open today, while government offices are still closed.
