Possibly Positive

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone. We are having rain yet another day. I hope it's like yesterday where the sun came out for a short time. I am up once again at 3 am. It seems like that is my new time to wake up lately.
My brother came home with not so great news yesterday. He manages several apartment complexes. Without going into a lot of detail, my brother and his maintenance crew may have to be tested for the coronavirus. A resident mentioned she had been tested positive during a work order. Two maintenance men and my brother had been in contact with her.
They all think she was lying just to get the work done in her apartment quicker. Of course, my brother had to inform his boss and now they are waiting to see if she has a letter from her doctor saying she is positive. He should know something today. I pray that she was lying as my brother has 3 of the risk factors and has been extremely careful. Please keep him in your thoughts today.
I don't have anything planned today. I do have some recorded shows I would like to watch and maybe some movies. It just depends on how I feel later today. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe day!
*** 6-2-20 Edited to add that we found out yesterday that she lied. She was tested but it was negative! ***

I hope she is lying, although that is a pretty low-down rotten thing to do. She obviously doesn't realize she may be playing with people's lives doing stunts like that.

We found out yesterday that she was tested but it came back negative. She just wanted to have her work order put in front of everyone else. These are the kind of people my brother has to deal with on a daily basis although she is the only one that has done this. Unfortunately there isn't anything that can be done for someone lying. I am very thankful that she tested negative. I was really worried.

@moffittjc The work order was for a leak under her sink. The water had to be turned off while it was being worked on. During that time, an emergency came up and the maintenance guy had to leave to check on it. She was mad because she was without water for an hour. So she said she tested positive for the virus and had to have water because she had to disinfect her apartment after the maintenance guy had left for the emergency. She just wanted the maintenance guy to come back and fix her sink. I know, doesn't make sense, but my brother couldn't take the chance and had to report it.

@simone10 Why would having the virus speed up a work order? I would think it would have the opposite effect....I would tell her that we couldn't complete her work order because it is not safe to go inside her apartment.

If there is a possibility that she is lying then probably she is. I wonder why she would lie about being positive. That is a serious matter.

That's good she's negative. My mother is a painter and one of co-workers had gotten sick back in Jan. and she got sick too. She thinks they had the virus back then.
