myLotters are Choosy

Many of us rant often here.

The site barely recovers every since it came back, The site use to be more active because categories helps people find same birds of the same feather. Now we are scattered and left to rely on tags.

People rant all the time. It takes a lot of work to respond to other's discussions, and that is the best way to gets ours responded to as well.

I also rant here most of the time. But since most of the members have their own clique, they usually reply to each other.

you might be right in saying that - I read the headlines if it's interesting, I read but I have the regulars mylotters that I view when I am on the site

I don't see this as a rant. You get comments by reading others posts and commenting. That's it.

It's their right. What is more important is what you post is not a violation of guidelines.

I don't believe this is a rant. It's hard to know why some posts do well and others don't but some are hard to comment on - for various reasons.

i like long discussions. i am not really in to short discussions like this but at least, yours have presented the facts well.

I used to rant about only getting 2-3 comments on posts, then I just...got over it? I have accepted the fact that not everyone will read every post, some do not comment, some cannot think of what to comment and maybe they just don't care what I am talking about and that is okay. It used to anger me, but instead of just crying about it, I should just make other posts that other people will read.

You can rant here as long as you don't violate the rules. I am not sure. Some of my posts receive a good number of responses while others get only few. There are some users who are always in top rated discussion and I am not sure what is their trick. I would like to learn that.

It is okay to rant here. I do that at times, too.

honestly, i choose discussions that i would have something to say in response. sometimes i read a discussion, but don't say anything. sometimes i don't read it because it's too long. but maybe you're not getting many comments because of the time you post it, maybe there aren't many active members then.

Usually posts that are too long and personal in nature are ignored by many user.

I don't spend a lot of time on here. When I do it is the title of the post that catches my attention and gets me to read it.

I think everyone has felt like that at one time or another.

Ranting is always allowed as long as you do not name anyone in particular ..... as for choosy, I think we are all choosy. Sometimes it is as if no one is online and discussions are not noticed then at other times it is as if everyone is here and people are getting many many hits.

When I come on here I always read as many posts as I can in the discussions and I always comment on each of them.

Sometimes I read a post but don't have anything to add.

If you don't visit and response to their discussions, they most likely don't do it either to your discussions too. No hard feeling. Just stating my opinion.
