So, how goes it fellow confidants? (Ah yes, post #3 where I'm trying a new opening other than the old stand by of "hi all")
SO, for awhile I have tried to come up with my own tagline, but I just can't seem to find anything sticky enough!
"That is one juicy banana" that's original, but where can I use it? Is a juicy banana a good or bad thing? Or since bananas aren't really juicy maybe it could mean when something is a fake :-D
Or how "That is one buttery avocado"? to mean something nice? lol I dunno.
"...so and so likes the spicy humor" - I have used but I think that has been used before, the "spicy humor" part.
A long time ago I revived the use of the word "Rube" which according to the internet means someone who is like an oaf (or maybe easily lead astray) @porwest remembers that discussion
Do you have a unique saying or catch phrase?

I do remember that discussion, and you have me using the word more and more. lol. As for unique catch phrases, I just really use what I think are pretty common ones. Ones I commonly use are We got a lick of work done, it's a horse a piece, I mean come on, don't do it, and things like that. From time to time I say things that seem so brilliant when I think of them but come out with looks of huh? When I go to the casino I usually win, lose, or break even. lol. Or once I said, I had a double quarter pounder. I mean, that's like a half a pound of meat. Maybe I got that from my mother who once told me, If you have any trouble with your brakes just stop.

Awesome! I have inspired someone to do something awesome... well ok, maybe not. But I like being a muse. lol. "A Horse a Piece" I heard but don't get the meaning of. I like your mom's saying, lol! Sometimes are here we'll remark if someone in traffic has run out of blinker fluid lol

@FayeHazel I am not sure where "a horse a piece" comes from, but I use it to describe "it is one in the same." It's probably not the right use of the term. lol

My late mom has a catchphrase when we lived in Panama which was "I am going to Quarry Heights to play in the highlights," Quarry Heights was a former military station in the Pacific side,

@FayeHazel It probably meant that she could go to any town in the Canal Zone so she could say "This is my town too."

Sorry for your loss
That's interesting though - what was she meaning when she'd say that?

Oh really? I always kind of get a "vegetable butter" sense off of them... that's interesting. Maybe it's different taste buds? Like how some people love cilantro and others like me think it tastes like metal

I tend to use the expression "unbelievable" a lot which I picked up from my Dad. When I use it, it's not complimentary it's more like "you've got to be kidding me." Although I also like this phrase from the church lady from SNL.
