What to do with ground beef?

I have a pound of ground beef in the fridge and am trying to figure out what dish to make with it. Any recipe I find online has ingredients I don't have on hand. Guess I have to resort to something that has few ingredients.
A few days ago I just cooked the ground beef in the skillet with some sauteed onions and then mixed that with cooked pasta, shredded Italian cheese blend, pasta her blend and canned tomato sauce. I don't want to do that again. And I don't want to do regular beef cutlets. Any ideas of what I can make?

I have that but what do I do with it all? I need to make a dish out of it. Can't just serve hubby ground beef.

My usual cooking of ground beef is the basic saute. Onions and garlic on the pan before putting the ground beef. Can be added are potato cubes, green peas, raisins and even bell pepper and carrots. Not to forget, the soy sauce is the only flavoring.

I don't have soy sauce. I do have Island Soyaki sauce.

@lovebuglena maybe that will do. When the onion and garlic are looking cooked, I put in the ground beef and add 2 tablespoon of soy sauce. That will give a nice flavor when the beef gets cooked. I don't know if that Soyaki is the soy sauce.

It looks like you already made your meal but you might like to consider these for next time. These are some of my 'comfort food' choices:
Cottage pie: Ground beef, onion &c. topped with mashed potato. You can include whatever vegetables you like with the beef to extend the filling. I find that one or two diced carrots - diced to match the size of the beef pieces - fried up with the onions always works well with beef. You can also mix a can of baked beans in with the filling to make it go further. Make sure to brown the meat well - it's not enough that all the pink of the meat is gone: parts of it should actually be turning brown. This is part of the secret of a good cottage pie! I also add a generous amount of mixed herbs (a good teaspoon) and, if you are using a cheaper, 20% fat ground beef, drain some of the fat off. Since the meat and potato is already cooked, you could serve this without putting it in the oven but I like to give it 30 minutes to brown the topping.
Lasagne or Moussaka. Lasagne (alternate layers of meat, lasagne pasta sheets and white sauce, finishing with a layer of white sauce sprinkled with cheese and oven baked) or Moussaka (alternate layers of sliced egg plant, potato, meat and white sauce finishing with a layer of white sauce and grated cheese) both use a fairly dry meat, onion and tomato mix with oregano and basil. The 'white sauce' is equal parts of butter and flour cooked to a roux and then milk added slowly whilst stirring so that there are no lumps. Ideally, first bring the milk to a boil with celery, carrot, onion and a bay leaf, then turn off the heat and allow to cool. Strain and discard the vegetables (or dice and use with the meat). Some people would add a little grated Parmesan cheese to the white sauce and Moussaka should really have eggs beaten into the sauce when it has cooled slightly. Lasagne is much less trouble than Moussaka because, for the latter you have to parboil the potato slices and grill or fry the egg plant slices, then do the white sauce (including beating in the eggs) and the meat, assemble the whole shebang and put it in the oven for 30 minutes.
Meatballs in sauce. I have two recipes for these. One is Italian with the meatballs made with oregano and thyme &c. (Italian mixed herbs) and served with a tomato sauce with pasta or rice, and the other is a Swedish recipe which uses lemon zest with the meat and a slightly thinner brown, lemony gravy. I might serve that with boiled potatoes and cabbage or tenderstem green broccoli.
Of the above, I have to say that I make cottage pie the most frequently, lasagne less often and moussaka and the meatballs (either kind) rather rarely. A pound (500 grams) of mince/ground beef makes at least two meals for the two of us!

Hmm.
If you have the ingredients you can make a taco style cheese dip
Or
If you have potatoes you could make a loaded baked potato.
Or
If you have bell peppers you could do loaded bell peppers

@lovebuglena You could make the seasoning for tacos with the spices in your cabinet, I've done that before. Of course, without the stuff you like to put on tacos, it wouldn't be the same.

@lovebuglena meatloaf is easy, meat, whatever sauce you want, breadcrumbs or cracerks and seasoning. Its the easiest.

I guess it's too late now, what did you end up making with the hamburger? I was going to suggest that you fry the burger with salt and pepper, add cubed potatoes, carrots, and onions. Fry all until done.

I posted a picture of it in Alex's response thread. Beef patties with Island Soyaki sauce, fried potatoes, and marinated forest mushrooms.

I do cutlets. I love them with mashed potatoes on the side and a tomato/cucumber with sour cream salad. My comfort food.

@lovebuglena You can eat a beef burger with boiled potatoes or rice if you don´t have buns and tomatoes.

Never tried that with beef before. Only used chicken. I kinda thought of maybe doing meatloaf. I looked at recipes on the food network for it but for each one I didn't have all the necessary ingredients for it. So axed it and did beef patties instead. If you go to Alex's response thread there should be a picture of my dish.
