Up Early Today

Of course, on a day when hubby sleeps late and there is not a good reason to get up early, I'm wide awake before the sun comes up. So I decided to hop online and get a little writing done and maybe do some surveys.
This is hubby's work week so he is sleeping in this morning. I put a pot of coffee on earlier and have already enjoyed a cup. My mom also got up but went back to bed.
I don't have too many plans today, mainly routine stuff around here. I do want to get the beds striped and wash the sheets so I'll have a little bit of laundry to do today.
I will also work outside a little bit as I think it is supposed to be a nice and sunny day. I haven't checked the weather yet, so this one will be worked in as to what the weather decides to do today.

Nothing fancy with me, just work, work, work. As Alan Jackson sings, "God bless the working man." But it was a fun day, went by quick and wasn't too stressful.

@moffittjc We have had really nice weather and it looks like more sunshine and heat for the rest of the week. Only 10-20% rain chances and humidity goes down on Thursday after front passes through. Yay!

He was/is from the State of Louisiana. He has a close friend that is the Police Chief in one of the smaller cities in Louisiana. He has been doing training for the deputies for several years. He was asked to be a fill-in person for road whenever they are short someone to work. They have one out with cancer recovery so hub is filling in. It's only 4-5 shifts a month so that isn't too bad, but night shift is a killer. Shift starts at 5 pm and ends at midnight. So it is 1 to 1:30 or later when he gets home after he does paperwork, reports and fills in next guy on shift of necessary happenings.

I'm also washing sheets today.
My daughter went back to work so I'm home alone and trying to get back into the old routine. I had to make my own coffee this morning

This is for yesterday: I drove to town and got Fred cat's asthma meds. Otherwise life was pretty much the same as the day before. This morning we got fog and for us fog in June is plain weird. I hope your days are okay.
