Ground meat. Hamburgers. Luna will have human food.

I just got up from my nap. I´ll go and clean up my kitchen and serve Luna her dinner. Today she will also have some human food.
I am grinding the meat I bought and have just separated some of it that I will not grind for me. Luna will love it. I cooked it a bit and now I´ll mix ut with her dry dog´s food.
I´ll finish the meat, dice and fry onions and make hamburgers to freeze. My homemade hamburgers have nothing to do with bought ones.
Do you make your own burgers?

We have never ground our own meat, but Jay does clean the deer meat and he cuts it up for the freezer. Luna will be so happy, having cooked meat on her dry dog food. I do that for Kobe, at times:)

I had to grind the meat as ground meat is not being sold here now. I suppose it has to do with the handling during the corona virus.

We have never grounded our own meat, we hardly ever actually get ground meat that comes in the tubes anymore, it is mostly just packaged meat and we make burgers from that. We do turkey burgers mostly and they are great.

What do you mean by packaged meat? I have never eaten turkey burgers.

@marguicha It is just in a package like how steak and chicken come in, instead of getting it from the tube. Turkey burger is really good, for some it takes a little bit to adjust to, but I loved it instantly.

I make my burgers but buy ground meat. Now they are not selling it, probably because of the corona virus.

Not for myself but at work I very occasionally make burgers.
It is rare though as the cost of making them in house is more than buying them from a butcher.
We don't buy crappy mass produced burgers.
