How many of you still play games? Board games like Candyland as a child, and then Trivial Pursuit as a teen were my favorite. My sister had one called Mall Madness that I distinctly remember, and I think it still might be in my dad's garage. My parents used to play Scrabble, and my mom used to beat him all the time. Since she taught literature (among other subjects) at a local college, she certainly had an advantage.
If you remember, I told you about the big family get together my dad's side of the family has every fourth of July. On night two of the three nights we stay there, they have game night. I mean they go through so many, up past midnight sometimes.
Do you guys play games anymore? It seems a shame they don't bring families together again.

When we go on vacation with relatives, we usually play scrabble and monopoly at night.

I loved playing board games and I would still play if I had anybody to play with. I also enjoyed card games.

We were never big board game players.
When we were very young, and when our son was very young, we used to play the Trouble board game (with a dice) with him. It was basically to help him with his counting. We dug the game out years later when he was a teenager and we had my brother's children staying with us.

My husband is not a game player; so I play these games on the computer...Scrabble, card games, etc. are a lot of fun against the computer opponents.
