A fellow MyLotter mentioned having cottage cheese and peaches for breakfast the other day. Inspired, I bought some cottage cheese and a peach at Safeway. To my surprise, the cottage cheese didn't taste like I remembered it from childhood days. I didn't like it as much. (It DID taste better when I added some fresh peach, though.)
Donning my Sherlock Holmes hat, I lit my pipe, took a small whiff of cocaine, and sat in my comfy chair. Voila! I realized that I had raspberry yogurt in the fridge, and that the taste of the yogurt would complement the taste of the cottage cheese perfectly. It worked! Combining yogurt with fruit and cottage cheese yields a delightful light breakfast or snack.
Now, what shall I call it?

I used to love eating cottage cheese as a kid, but these days I avoid it due to being lactose intolerant.

@TheHorse It's worse for me. It's not just gas, or pain and cramping, it's bad diarrhea.

I wouldn't like cottage cheese combined with anything or by itself. Blechh! Can't think of an apropos name.

@LindaOHio Sigh. Maybe I'll buy it now and again. But I drink a lot of milk anyway.

@TheHorse Yes, cottage cheese is good for you. Lots of calcium.
