Sliced Apples and Gouda Cheese for Dinner

Found some delicious apples at a local farmer's stand earlier today while out. He had other vegetables for sale as well. I picked up several of these apples and a few tomatoes. Sliced an apple just now and it is so good. Decided to have it for dinner. Half of the apple has smoked gouda cheese, the other half has peanut butter. Sounds like a light dinner to most. And that is how we like it here most of the time. Especially when the weather is hot. I can always have a scoop of ice cream if I decide I want dessert. Hope you all have a good evening and weekend.

Your apples sound good. I sometimes bake apples or make pies but I like a plain apple too. I have some we need to eat soon.

I like cheese with fruits, mainly is with pears and grapes more than apples, but I also like Cheddar cheese with walnuts, it is often our dinner, some cheese and fruits.

Apples are okay for me. But cheese maybe I take a bit or skip. The sweetness and oily feeling hurts my stomach.

I love gouda cheese. I watched Tyler Florence make what he called the ultimate mac-n-cheese and he says you have the mix different cheeses. One of those cheese he named was gouda. I'm like: "I'm all in Tyler!"

i have light suppers in the summer time too hot to cook sometimes i just have a bowl of cereal and fruit but your apples a cheese and apple ans peanut butter sounds deliscous too.
