OUCH... I Broke My Toe

Have you ever broken your toe?
It's painful to say the least. This isn't the first time I've broken my poor little pinky toe but I hope it's the last.
Yesterday I was changing the sheets on my bed and as I was walking around the bed I stubbed my toe on the corner of my nightstand. Boy did I see stars.
Today my poor little toe is all black, blue and purple and a mess.
The good thing about not wearing slipper/shoes is I don't have to worry about putting them on my feet today.
The bad thing about being barefoot is exactly what happened....a broken toe.

Ouch, I feel for you.
Our toes are so sensitive.
I got up one day last week and was walking alongside the bed and stubbed my second smallest toe on that hard plastic caster on the bed frame. I saw stars and its still black and blue.
Hopefully your toe mends soon.

@Marilynda1225 aw no you poor thing! I've never broken any bones before so I can't say I know what it feels like. Wishing you all the very best for your poor toe to heal soon as possible.

@Marilynda1225 That's true, nothing anyone can do. It makes my toe hurt just thinking about it . I really do hope your toe is better soon.

They can't do anything for a broken toe as I've learned from breaking it more than once. You would think I'd wear shoes

A few times like you did. Also broke my big toe once when a horse ran over me. He never did that to me again.

Yes it takes awhile for it to heal. I opt for not strapping it and it isn't quite as painful now as it was the day I did it but it's still black & blue and looks pretty nasty

Oh no...that is awful. I don't think I ever broke my toe, but I sprained it or something one time, my big toe, and I could hardly walk.

Its most likely just sprained and bruised, if it's broken or fractured you probably would had fainted and the part would most likely be put in a cast. Hope it would get well and you would feel better, that really hurts.

I am sorry! Yes, I've broken my toe before and it is not fun. I've also broken fingers. Never any fun!

Thankfully I've never broken any fingers or any other bones but I have broken my toes more than once

ohhh dear poor you... I hope it soon feels better and more comfortable... I am very fortunate I have never broken any bones... but I tore a ligament once... that was painful too...
