I just saw this commercial for Folgers coffee. The lady opens the shower curtain and sees her father in law in there, but not only that, another guy who is fully clothed is washing his back with a brush. She also strangely has a cup of coffee in her hand, Folgers of course! First of all, why would someone open a shower curtain if they heard the water running? Wouldn't the obvious thought be..someone is in there? Why is her father in law taking a shower with a fully clothed man washing his back? IF it was me, I would be dropping the coffee cup..and probably screaming..not enjoying the coffee..
. I would also probably need something stronger than Folgers after that encounter.

I guess it is strange enough to make you remember it, which is probably their intent.

I do not watch TV so do not remember any commercials. Oh, leah, the Liberty Mutual with an Emu is kind of strange. I will say the commercial got your attention and you remembered the brand, so it achieved its goal.

I know the commercial you're taking about, I laughed so hard the first time I saw it. in the commercial she thought it was her HUSBAND in the shower and she was going to surprise him by getting in there with him for some fun sexy time...but it's her father-in-law....which isn't exactly a fun sexy time for her. that's what they were trying to convey

I saw that commercial too and like you I had the same thoughts, lol. I think all commercials are kind of nutty..

The only explanation could be she thought it was her hubby, and she was gonna surprise him or something..Still kind of dangerous. He would probably be like what the? Unless it was their thing or something.
