I managed

I managed to water the tomatoes and peppers and iris. I managed to mow quite a bit in my backyard.
I managed to get stung by a yellow jacket, not fun.
It is noon. Hubby is going to make our lunch. I am going to cool off, then take a wonderful shower.
The outdoor work never seems completely done, but it is good for me to do it.
I am just glad I have the time.
I am also glad I know to chew up some plantain/plantago and put it on an insect sting. It takes the pain and swelling away.

My grandma used to use a wad of mud. Yes, I need to do early yard stuff.

@much2say I do not have trouble with stings itching, maybe because I use plantain.

@GardenGerty Mud, really
? I wonder if it worked? Do yellow jacket stings itch later like bee stings?

One of the things I have learned from taking herbal classes.

Glad you took care of the sting. Baking soda works well too.
