Was It The Meditation?

Last night, I went to bed and was having some anxiety. So, I meditated and took deep breaths, over and over.
Moving on...
This morning, I woke up and looked at the clock. The clock said exactly 8:00. I was thinking 8pm as in night time.
My roommate is to be home at 6pm today. She has been away all weekend. Well, I thought something was wrong as she was not home yet. So, I called her cellular phone. She said "Dude, do you know what time it is? I said, "Oh, you did not tell me are coming home late". She said, "It is 8 o'clock in the morning!"
Maybe I owe my rest in bed to meditation and deep breaths? Do you think I wore myself out by being repetitive?
Oh yeah, the roommate calls everybody the name "dude".
I need a mocha!

@Spontaneo I wish Keurigs were more hot. I like things hot and let them cool off.

The mocha is cooling off right now. They should make Keurigs with levels of heat. I hate burning my mouth on hot mochas.

Probably the stress and anxiety just tuckered you out to the point of needing some extra rest. Our bodies are pretty smart that way. But meditation does relax so it could of made you physically and mentally more able to let go and sleep. Does the mocha have any restorative powers for you to balance out all that rest?

Mocha is a treat that I give myself. The stress and anxiety did not wear me out. After inhaling and exhaling so many times, I got refreshed.

I think the deep breathing is the key.

It could have been the meditation that helped you sleep that much for sure! Have a great day.
