Do you like Fish Fillet? Do you eat it with rice or fries?

Fish and chips is one of the best known takeaways in the UK. They are so much in demand that even the Chinese and Turkish fast food restaurants have them on the menu. Since I have two takeaway places (both with Chinese menus s well) within 100 yards of the house, we often order fish and chips when we don't feel like cooking. I have never got on with eating fish and chips in the street straight out of the paper but many people do this, especially late at night after going to the pub (of course, that has all stopped now because of the corona pandemic and no pubs are open, though the takeaway restaurants have been allowed to stay in business). I would never think of having fried battered fish with rice! That just wouldn't be right!

The whole family loves it especially with rice.

I like fish fillet with a nice dip of sweet and sour. When eaten with rice I want soup with it.

I do like fish filets, and usually have french fries or any other kind of potatoes on the side. I like lemon juice and sometimes tartar sauce on my fish. But yeh, potato salad goes well with them too.

I don't have fish fillet often. I do have fish tocos sometimes. Maybe I will do so for lunch today! I need to try some thing "new."

Yes, I like and I often make fish fillets that I serve with potatoes, or other kind of vegetables, never with rice.

I like fries but don't eat them much anymore. I also don't eat fish with that type of breading. I would eat my fish broiled with some salad or veggie or even some fruit.

We used to have these quite often but don't so much nowadays. I still like them.

Where I'm from, we eat fish fillet with rice. Preferably with some sweet and sour sauce. Or maybe soy sauce. Or sauteed fish paste. Okay, now I'm hungry!

Best served while hot + fries for me.
