Well another hot one today. There are the potential of storms in the forecast, but I hope they pass us by. They have been creating problems with the internet here, and I might end up having to have a service call. They said they think my dish might be out of alignment, and being as I have had it in the same place for several years they could be right. I hope not to have a service call though because of course I will have to pay for it..

Doesn't the error code on the tv usually suggest that the dish is out of alignment? Though of course your problem is with the internet and not the television. Hmm... I know it's supposed to be hot here, but not sure about the rain.

Yes, but I don't see the internet error codes. It is something that they see in the control centers. They told me about a new reboot method they said following that will allow them to see what is happening.

Why would it be out of alignment if you've had it in the same place for several years? I hope you don't get the storms. Hot here too.

@just4him That is what they told me, I presume they know more than either you or I do.

. An animal running past it could have struck it or who knows what? Things happen. A branch could fall on it.They are mounted in the ground.

Same here, it's hot but we should get storms later in the day. I had problems with the credit card today, I authorized a payment they asked twice, then they debited twice and I had to call to fix the problem, they are driving me crazy.

I hate when things like that happen. When I was paying for my phone bill awhile back, I wasn't sure if the payment hasd gone through,,,and of course it had..and I ended up paying twice.however, I just left it because I was ahead of the game after that, and didn't have to pay the next month.

@snowy22315 Their system seems designed by a stupid, I received a text message asking to enter the code if I made the payment, I did, then another text message saying to repeat the payment, when I logged into my account to check they had paid twice.

I hope it doesn't need anything...and no it won't be expensive. It isn't broken per se..just has connection issues after storms.

Oh boy, I hope you don't have to have a service call! We have internet outages here every once in awhile. It's my son's internet and my apartment is built at the side of his house. I have a booster thingy. It goes out more here than it did in Paradise, but so far it hasn't been for long periods at a time, that would make me crazy. I'm so dependent on it for everything I get impatient when it's out at all though. Anyway, good luck, I hope it gets a good fix.

We had a little bit of rain yesterday and the skies today look like it could rain but who knows. Hope your dish doesn't need a service call and it's just the weather causing problems.

Its not a hot one here. Bloody miserable again. Cold and damp, windy and cloudy. How much would they charge to put the dish right?

It is probably going to amount to about 25 bucks which isn't horrible. Not sure how soon they could come out though.

Same here, connections are also getting slow in time of bad weather, heavy rainfalls and thunderstorms like this day, I almost stay at home and feeling lazy all the time. Praying when this bad weather ends.
