Wake me up and roll me over

Sunshine and sleepys. That's me. I can't remember the last time I woke rested. So on I go..... Hubby works in office today. I put my ugly cloth face covering on and walked into a grocery store and yup, bought groceries. A couple of people did not cover their faces even though the governor says you better!!! Daughter e-mails: you figured out which poetry you want in your chapbook?? I am ready to illustrate. I plowed through surveys and got my big bucks from Swagbucks today so I am armed and dangerous. Poetry. She even sent me pieces that I gave her through the years. (Thank God I gave them to her cause my computer routinely erases them.) I've picked one and sent it her way. One down and at least twenty five to go. No. This chapbook will not make me money. It will cost me money but it won't make revenue. It will sit by its companion on Amazon and smile at the passersby. That's fine. Daughter makes a pretty book and that's what matters. She knows how to showcase my work. On to conquer more poetry.

@rebelann Some folks keep pet tarantulas. Daughter helps me keep pet poetry. Thanks for your well wishes.

I wanted to sleep in this morning, since today was a holiday for us government workers. But nope, my neighbor decided to start at construction project at 7:00am this morning. The noise woke me up. Didn't start off my day in the best of moods, but that's okay, coffee cured everything. lol

@sallypup 7am is late for me too. I never sleep in that late. So I really shouldn't complain that the neighbor was making so much noise. It was about time for me to get up anyway.

@moffittjc Yup. Holiday pay for my hubby today, too. Monday he does not work and is not paid. 7 a.m. is a late start to me cause of my critter's various construction projects.

Ooh I should get back to Swagbucks. Didn't do badly there. Somehow it just got put on my back burner and then forgotten. I get my groceries delivered, so I don't have to go become frustrated by people who won't play by the rules. Actually I was having them delivered before the pandemic even began. I really don't like grocery shopping. It's wonderful you and your daughter collaborate on books. I haven't attempted to write poetry since I was a teenager. But mine was pretty bad poetry at that. Enjoy your writing!

@CinnamonGrl I am not yet there on trusting someone else to buy decent produce for me. I thought about buying a head of lettuce today. I looked at their core and blech. All brown like they would go rotten in a heart beat. Would my buyer person look that carefully?? Swagbucks does take quite a bit of time for the money earned though I've had more paying surveys since the Pandemic hit. Thanks for your well wishes. Poetry is part of my fabric.

So sorry you wake up tired. That must be exhausting - pardon the pun. I ordered groceries yesterday and today. I won't set foot into a store for that very reason. Fines should be enforced! Best of luck with the book. Your daughter is a true gem!

@Dianne I live about 15 to 20 miles from Safeway. I probably would get a hefty fee attached to my groceries if I had them delivered to my door.

@sallypup I signed up for a one time yearly fee. All I pay for is a tip. I'm in for the long haul.

So you're writing a poetry book, I would like to do that but I'm lazy and don't want to do all the work. Well, I might write write the poetry and make a book one day and keep it for myself. Anyway good luck with yours.

@sallypup I've had some of my poems selected for poetry books and I've thought that I would like to see a book of poetry with my name on it. But I will likely never do a thing about it.
