Found two unusual hacks to make our life a little more efficient. Looking forward to seeing if these ideas work. Have you tried any of these Life Hacks before(Tips)? 1. Remove Hard-Water Buildup with a Lemon Remove hard-water buildup on your faucet with this simple, natural solution: Place half of a fresh lemon on the end of the faucet, and wrap a small plastic bag around the lemon. Secure it to the faucet with a rubber band. After a few hours, remove the lemon and wipe the faucet clean. All the crud is gone! 2. Use Lemon As A Microwave Cleaner Here is an easy way to clean baked-on food and spills from your microwave. This is what you do. Partially fill a measuring or coffee cup with water and add a slice of lemon. Boil the water for a minute, and then leave the door closed and let the steam loosen the mess. After 10 minutes, just open the door and wipe away the grime. Ah, the power of the lemon.... I wonder who thinks of these things? Might be worth seeing if they work... A Life "hack" refers to any trick, shortcut, skill, or novelty method, that increases productivity and efficiency in all walks of life according to Wikipedia. Source- www.lifehack.org

I have a clear panel in my electric kettle so I can see the level of water. When it clouds over, I boil a lemon in the kettle. I let the water cool then might boil it a time or two again. Once you rinse the kettle, the cloudiness has gone.

I use some white vinegar to boil in the microwave, but lemon would be good.

Those sound like great ideas. Lemons have many uses, not only for desserts and lemonade.
