A year of Dinners: All American Fourth of July Meal

The kiddos are up at grandma's tonight. Their cousins dad rented a bounce house for the weekend, so the kids decided that sounded cooler than what we had planned. I was a little bummed out about it at first. Especially since I spent 100 dollars on stuff to make sure they got a fourth of July at home, but the fireworks will keep till tomorrow night, so I got over it. Anyway since its just the mister and I. I decided to make chicken fried steak, parmesan and herb mashed potatoes, southern gravy and crescent rolls. After all, what is more 'Merican than southern food and gravy. What did y'all have for dinner tonight?

Your dinner looks interesting...not a combo I've ever had I had a mixture of small amounts of leftovers from my work...salmon lasagne, thai chicken red curry, some type of veg stir fry, some angus beef stir fry and noodles and quite a few other things I can't remember. All good, it was like a michelin star tasting menu minus the $250 price tag...I probably had a small sample of 12 dishes or so.
